As always, we’re so lucky to have the ongoing support from Connecticut student Jeremy Perillo. Jeremy, a Life Scout with Troop 42, participated in his second annual crutch drive this summer. He collected 55 pairs of crutches, 10 walkers, eight canes and two boots, and personally delivered the items to one of our shipping partners, AmeriCares, in Stamford, CT. They will be shipped along with other medical devices to organizations serving impoverished communities in Bangladesh, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Jeremy also collected nearly $350 in monetary donations through a school fundraiser. The donations will go towards buying new pairs of pediatric crutches for children in need in India.

Jeremy is one of our rockstar crutch drive volunteers that goes above and beyond. His smile, positive attitude and hard work have made Jeremy an unforgettable face for the Crutches for Kids organization. Last summer, Jeremy hosted his first Crutch Drive and donated over 125 items. We are very grateful for Jeremy's efforts, and his tenacity to make a difference in his community and beyond.

Thank you Jeremy!
